The Voice of Allan Zade
The development of humankind and its philosophy can be depicted as a vast spiral. Humankind crawls on that spiral, reaching the higher levels of its consciousness. Moreover, the spiral leads to the possibility of meeting the same old problems at the next level of consciousness and the advanced technological level.
In that case, humankind must rethink the old ideas ingrained in the human mind by thousands of previous generations. All of them did it with ‘good reasons and intentions’ to teach their children the highest achievements of all generations. However, ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions.’ Therefore, “fathers” teach their children old ideas without any attempt to check those ideas and ways of thought against modern and sophisticated achievements.
A good example comes from the work of Ptolemy about “celestial mechanics.” He postulated that the Earth is the center of the universe and transparent celestial spheres carry planets around the Earth. That illusion persisted for ages in the human mind by the good intentions of each “father to teach his children.”
However, the illusion became obsolete as soon as Galileo invented his telescope. Humankind has revisited this old question at a new level of technical advancement. That level disproved the old illusion and started the new circle of comprehension all over again.
Strictly speaking, every advanced achievement leads to a similar possibility of destroying an old illusion. Moreover, the highest achievement of a philosopher (or a thinker) is the destruction of a category in his mind because his research shows the inconsistency of that old category with physical entities.
This article presents a similar perspective that destroys and disproves the concept of physical time. That is a groundbreaking achievement because the category has persisted in the human mind for ages and even survived the technological revolution of recent centuries.
